WE'RE BACK FOR THE  SUMMER OF 2024!

For 29 years, Monica Rosales has carried on a tradition that began with Margaret M. Clark so many years ago. She has devoted her summers to waterproofing Brownsville's children. Her swimming classes introduce basic strokes to beginners and more advanced techniques for those who have mastered the early levels of training.  Using the American Red Cross "Learn to Swim" program, children ranging in age from four to sixteen advance from guppy to sailfish and develop confidence in the water. As testament, many of this year's swimming instructors were once students themselves.
